Jessica Swoboda completed her bachelor's and master's degree in Medical Informatics at University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund, the master's degree in cooperation with the University of Duisburg-Essen. During her studies, she supported different research projects as a research assistant and research associate. As a PhD student in the DFG Research Training Group WisPerMed, Jessica Swoboda has been researching predictive and patient-specific modeling of clinical outcomes (e.g., side effects) using patient similarity and machine learning since 2021. She is an employee of the Institute of Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (IMIBE) at the University Hospital Essen.
