Mikel Bahn is a doctoral researcher at the WisPerMed graduate school since 2024, holding a master's degree in computer science and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Duesseldorf and University of Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen. In his master's thesis he modelled and simulated large scale heterogeneous networks to analyze social patterns of interdisciplinary work in scholarly networks. Currently, his research is centered around the intersection of Graph Representation Learning and Large Language Models to enhance the point of care by novel combinations of knowledge and data driven approaches.
