René studied business informatics and computer science at the Bochum University of Applied Science (Hochschule Bochum). One of his research fields is focused on the impact of CT based body composition features in combination with survival analysis. In addition, the application and usage of Generative Adversarial Networks for medical image-to-image translation tasks is also part of his research.
