Sameh Frihat earned his bachelor's degree in computer systems engineering in January 2016. He then worked as a software engineer and data scientist in the information technology and services industry for over four years. In January 2021, he received his Master's degree in Computer Engineering (Intelligent Systems), for which he conducted research in "Information Retrieval" as part of his Master's thesis. Since March 2021, he has been working as a research assistant in the Information Systems research group at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In his doctoral thesis, he uses personalized and context-sensitive search techniques to facilitate decision-making at the point of care for medical professionals.
